Members of the Tampa Bay Chapter of InfraGard and Non-Members are invited to attend the Q1 Telecommunications Sector Meeting.

Our guest speaker, Jeremy Walker, is a security professional with over 18 years of combined experience designing, maintaining, and securing military and agency Information Technology systems. His current role is as the CTO & VP of Information Security Services with VyFi where he leads a team of security experts and helps drive VyFi’s customer-facing technology innovation. He has seven years of penetration testing experience operating within military, financial, and industrial landscapes. He holds certificates in ISC2: CISSP-ISSAP, CompTIA: CASP, Sans: GCIH, EC- Council: CEH. He is a certified Community College of the Air Force instructor with over 400 hours of Cybersecurity instruction and was an adjunct professor in Bay Path University’s graduate Cybersecurity program. He has a Master of Science in Information Technology/Cybersecurity from the Florida Institute of Technology.

Presentation Synopsis:

Penetration Testing (PT) as a concept is generally approached from a technical purview. This type of communication is helpful for penetration testers honing their craft; however, it can be challenging to consume, even by highly technical people who are outside of the field.

This presentation will help attendees understand penetration testing as a business tool and utility for 2023 and beyond.
